An escape room is an exciting interactive game where players are “trapped” in a room and must work together to discover clues, solve puzzles, and escape the room before running out of time.
Our themed rooms are created by professional theme park builders and artists to provide you with a fully-immersive, and unique experience!

Your whole party must arrive 15 minutes prior to your mission start time for check-in, rules, and orientation.
You have 60 minutes inside the room to complete your mission. Missions begin promptly at the designated start time (or earlier). Arriving 15 minutes early is the only way to guarantee your full hour inside the room.
Plan on the entire experience taking about 1.25 hours. We recommend making restaurant reservations for after your Escape Room mission to avoid delays.

Late or no-show participants will forfeit time (if booked privately) or forfeit the entire mission (if booked with others), without a refund. To be fair to others, we start each game on time and cannot allow late participants to enter once the game has begun.

Each escape room has a strict age requirement (no exceptions) of 7+ or 13+ (due to gore and fear factor).
Anyone under the minimum age will be asked to leave, without a refund.
All guests must be a minimum age of 7 to enter the facility (no infants/toddlers allowed).
Chaperones: To play without an adult chaperone, all participants must be at least 15 years old.
If any participant is under the age of 15, a ticketed adult chaperone is required inside the escape room at all times.
For groups with multiple participants under the age of 15, an additional chaperone is recommended to facilitate participants wishing to take a break from the room. -
While we do our best to offer an idea of each room's difficulty, experiences can vary based on number of players and skill level. We strive to ensure everyone has a chance to win by offering helpful clues along the way. Our goal is to create a challenging yet rewarding experience for all participants.
Escape rooms also vary in fear factor based on scare level and presence of gore. These ratings provide a general idea of what to expect and help guests choose the experience that aligns with their comfort level.
While we do not feature live actors, our rooms are carefully crafted to create a sense of suspense and excitement. -
Yes, a waiver will need to be filled out every time, for each mission with us.
Adults over the age of 18 will need to fill out their own waiver.
Minors will need to have an adult sign the waiver on their behalf, prior to their mission.
Fill out your waivers ahead of time by using the link provided in your confirmation email.Please forward your confirmation email or waiver link to all adults in your party.

All transactions are non-refundable.
A 50% Rebooking Fee will apply when rescheduling or canceling within 48 hours of your appointment.
Call 608-833-8463 during business hours (Thurs-Sun) to reschedule. Fees are collected at time of rebooking.
If we must close (due to weather, etc.) we will contact you to rebook without fees.

Yes, large groups are welcome! You may reserve multiple rooms at the same time-slot if you wish to bring a large number of participants.
Each room can accommodate a maximum of 12 participants with the purchase of a private room (although we recommend between 6-8 for the best experience).
We do not currently offer an additional party room or space for rent, and food/drink/alcohol is prohibited.
We ask that you make other arrangements for any cake/presents, or meetings, etc.If your organization is tax exempt, please see the “Tax vs Tax Exempt” section below.

Certain rooms may be more accessible than others - based on individual needs.
Our facility has an elevator to bring you up to the second floor. Most of our rooms can accommodate a wheelchair - but some oversized wheelchairs may not fit through every doorway, as some doors are smaller than others. Our doorways will allow for most standard size manual/transport wheelchairs & most regular sized electric ones.
Some of our rooms do have some physical challenges, you will just need 1 additional player to assist you with those parts of the gameplay. We can attempt to take special accommodation requests, but any changes to our normal gameplay may require you to book a private experience.
Please contact us prior to booking if you require accommodations or would like more information on which room(s) would be best suited for you.

Escape Rooms are activities you can do rain/sleet/snow or shine. We are on the bus line and won't close unless the West Towne Mall or Madison Metro Buses close due to weather. We will call you to let you know if/when this occurs to give you an opportunity to reschedule. We will post any updates on our Facebook and Instagram page. Any missed appointments without 48 hour notice will be considered a no-show, as we will continue to be open for all of our customers. Please be careful when driving in bad conditions - leave early to allow for slow drive times/traffic and be safe!

Unless you secure ALL 8 individual tickets (or a private room), you may be in a room with another party. Due to fire safety codes, rooms hold up to 12 people max. *Note: We recommend 6-8 people per room for the best experience.

All waivers should be signed prior to arrival.
A link to the waiver may be found in your confirmation email, and can be shared/signed electronically.
All adults (18 & over) are required to sign their own waiver.
All minors (ages 7-17) can be signed under one participating adult.

We have a strict NO REFUND Policy; if providing less than a 48 hours notice you will be charged a 50% fee for rebooking/canceling.
All certificates/vouchers must be applied at the time of purchase, no exceptions.

All purchases are subject to a 5.5% Wisconsin State tax, plus a 6% online booking fee (collected by FareHarbor).
If you are Tax Exempt, you must provide your Tax exempt form via email and call us during business hours to book. We are not able to refund sales tax on bookings made online.

Our Escape Rooms require 2 or more guests per room, and have a minimum age REQUIREMENT of 7+ or 13+, depending on the room.
All participants must be 15+ years of age, to play without a chaperone.

We are located off of Odana Road, behind Market Square Mall on the west side of Madison, Wisconsin. 2nd floor, down the hall.

Disclaimer:
Escape Rooms are mental and physical activities requiring 2+ guests per room.
Minimum age requirements of 7+ or 13+, and a ticketed adult chaperone for guests under 15, will be strictly enforced.
Parents/guardians must assess if the experience is suitable based on content (e.g., gore, guns) and their group’s maturity or accessibility needs.
Content Warnings: Sensory conditions may include non-toxic fog/scents, fake blood/gore, clowns/ghosts, guns/lasers, loud sounds/music, dim/dark lighting, strobe effects (may trigger seizures/vertigo), and color-dependent puzzles.
Some areas may be creepy, confined, or require climbing/crawling, and may not be handicap accessible. Contact us during business hours (Th-Sun) to discuss possible accommodation requests.
No pets or companion animals allowed, but guide dogs are welcome.
